About Us

About The Intentional Maven

The Intentional Maven creates tools to help you live on purpose, plan ahead with clarity, and leave behind what truly matters.

Our tools are designed to help people navigate life’s most meaningful — and sometimes difficult — moments with clarity, grace, and intention. Whether you're organizing end-of-life wishes, preserving family stories, or simply taking time to reflect, our products offer a way to engage with life more thoughtfully.

Rooted in legacy, guided by purpose, and created for women in midlife and beyond, The Intentional Maven offers planning tools that feel as good as they function — beautifully designed, emotionally supportive, and grounded in real-life experience.

What We Offer

We create practical yet elegant tools for intentional living, legacy planning, and personal reflection. Our core collection includes:

  • The Gracious Goodbye — an end-of-life planner designed to ease the burden on loved ones and ensure your voice is heard
  • I Am Grateful — a guided gratitude journal and prompt card set that fosters presence and reflection
  • Upcoming Releases — including a Legacy Folio, Emergency Document Binder, and other tools for mindful preparation and storytelling

Every product is created with care: thoughtful prompts, quality materials, and a focus on what truly matters.

Our Philosophy

We’re not here to chase trends or offer one-size-fits-all advice.

Instead, we build tools that simplify the complex, support meaningful reflection, and help people prepare for what lies ahead — without fear or overwhelm.

We believe that being organized is a gift — not just for ourselves, but for those we love.

A Note From Our Founder

Sharmani Pillay, Founder

I’ve built and sold two businesses over the past two decades — but The Intentional Maven is the one that comes from my heart.

After a health scare, a period of deep reflection, and watching my parents age, I began to think differently about time, legacy, and what it means to live well. I didn’t want to leave behind a mess — emotionally or practically. I wanted to create tools that could help others feel prepared, grounded, and at peace with what they leave behind.

This brand is a reflection of that shift — toward clarity, toward calm, and toward a life lived on purpose.
